Chatbase is fine if you have time to build flows and accept that all your data sits in a foreign SaaS cloud. For Hungarian-language fine-tuning we are sharper, you get a local data processing agreement, and if you need integration with your webshop or CRM, we will build it. Plus: real developer support, by phone.

What happens to my data? Does it go abroad?

Leads, conversation logs and all customer data stay in an EU system operated by an EU developer. The AI model response (GPT/Claude) is served by OpenAI/Anthropic — every chatbot works this way — but under their contracts, they do not train on submitted data. We do not pretend to be „self-hosted" or claim „data stays at home" — that would be false because the LLM call leaves. But we only send the LLM call out, nothing else.

What if the bot does not know the answer?

Built-in „I don't know" mechanism. If the bot finds no answer in your knowledge base, it does not lie (no hallucination) — it offers contact or redirects to a form. In the background we collect unanswered questions — you see them on your dashboard and can add them to the knowledge base.
